Using SmartHeart technology, your heart rhythm recording can be reviewed through the SmartHeart clinical platform by qualified cardiologists. Results can be provided directly to you and, with your authorization, securely shared with your healthcare provider.

24-Hour Monitoring — $149
Sometimes a brief screening does not capture symptoms that occur intermittently. Extended monitoring may provide a longer look at your heart rhythm.

- Mobile device placement
- Up to 24 hours of heart rhythm monitoring
- SmartHeart platform processing
- Cardiologist interpretation
- Electronic results report
- Results provided to the client
48-Hour Monitoring — $199
Includes everything in the 24-hour monitoring service with monitoring extended for up to 48 hours.
72-Hour Monitoring — $249
Includes everything in the 24-hour monitoring service with monitoring extended for up to 72 hours.
Healthcare Provider Results Transmission: Included with monitoring services when requested and authorized by the client.

HEART RHYTHM SCREENING FOR ATHLETES

IDTS also offers mobile heart rhythm screening for athletes, including high-school football players and other physically active students.
Athletes place significant demands on their cardiovascular system. A heart rhythm screening may provide additional information that can be discussed with a parent/guardian and the athlete’s healthcare provider.

Your Results Belong In Your Healthcare Record
IDTS does not diagnose or treat heart conditions.
Our role is to provide convenient heart rhythm screening and monitoring and facilitate access to the resulting cardiologist-interpreted report.
If your results indicate that you should seek additional medical evaluation, you will be encouraged to contact your physician or other qualified healthcare professional.
Your healthcare provider is responsible for evaluating your results in the context of your medical history, symptoms and overall health.
When Should You Seek Medical Attention?
A heart rhythm screening should never be used as a substitute for emergency medical care.
If you are experiencing severe chest pain, severe difficulty breathing, fainting, or other potentially life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.

Does IDTS diagnose heart problems?
No. IDTS provides screening and monitoring services. The SmartHeart platform provides access to cardiologist interpretation of the recorded heart rhythm. Diagnosis and treatment are the responsibility of the client’s healthcare provider.
Will I receive my results?
Yes. Your completed cardiologist-interpreted report can be provided to you.
Can you send my results to my doctor?
Yes. With your authorization, IDTS can securely transmit your completed report to your designated healthcare provider.
Can my doctor receive the results directly?
Yes. With your authorization, IDTS can securely transmit your completed report to your designated healthcare provider.
Is this covered by insurance?
IDTS services are offered on a self-pay basis. Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Clients may contact their insurance provider regarding possible reimbursement.
Can athletes use this service?
Yes. IDTS offers individual and group heart rhythm screening for athletes, including high-school football players. The service does not replace a required sports physical or provide athletic clearance.
Can I have the screening done at home?
Yes. IDTS is a mobile service serving clients throughout our Southwest Florida service area.
